Clothing retailers should also ask about the discounts that wholesalers will give them with their bulk orders. Retailers obviously pay less for their merchandise than customers do. In order to keep their prices low, they find wholesalers that offer them discounts when they make bulk orders. By finding the company that gives them the lowest price quote for the casual and sports clothing that they need, they can keep their prices low so that they can compete with other stores.
